Hi Hansi & Boel
Hope you are all well. Sorry for not
getting in touch earlier, I have finally arranged with the
photographer, Rod Scott, who took photos at the BSDCQ Specialty
to send me the photos. I did send some earlier, to your other
address, that were not very good, but I am not sure if you got them.
Anyway attached are photos of Shakira and me at the Specialty.
One of the photos shows Judge Anny de Prez with Shakira. If you
want to see more photos of the Specialty with other dogs the website
is www.thepetographer.com.au
and go the link for the Belgian Shepherd Specialty. Let me know
if you have any problems with these photos.
Best regards,
Ann & Rob & Shakira

2006-05-02 Hi Hansi and Boel
Finally as promised in the last email are some photos of Shakira. The
first photo is from Nabiac Championship Show when she attained her
Australian Championship Title and was also Runner up in Group. The
others are at home, with her friends and at a show.
On Sunday Shakira and I went to a Herding Trial weekend where she
was entered in a Herding Instinct Test. This test is to
evaluate if she has any herding instincts. She had never
seen sheep before and I was wondering how she would react, well
Shakira loved those sheep and couldn't wait to get in with them. She
passed with flying colours and now has a Herding Instinct Certificate. I
hope to continue with training in this area as well as agility and
maybe obedience.
Hope you are well.

What a difference in temperature at
the moment, we have had two days where it has been +45 degrees celcius,
and since Christmas consistently in the high 30's. In fact
the show where Shakira went Puppy in Show, the last photo, it was 40
degrees with 90% humidity. Shakira is coping very well with
the heat, although I think she would prefer the cold, different for
her from when she was born. Fortunately we have air
conditioning in the house.

I am very proud and excited to let you
know that Shakira obtained her final points today to become an
Australian Champion. She did this in fine style by taking out
BOB and Runner Up in Group.
In the last 8 shows she has acheived 6
BOB's, 1 RUBOB, 4 Juniors in Groups and capped it all off with a
Runner Up in Group. Shakira is maturing into a very beautiful
lady with a wonderful personality and a very expressive face.
She is a favourite of all who come to know her, and doesn't she know
it!!
As soon as I have some photos from the
day I will forward them to you.
I hope you are all keeping well, the
weather here is still very hot, looking foward to winter.
Best regards,Ann and Rob& Shakira

| Australia 2006-01-31.
Shakira has settled in very well in her new home with Rob and myself
and our 3 Tervurens.
She has been very successful from a limited amount of shows. Some
of her achievements to date include many BOB's & RUBOB, 4 Minor
Puppys in Group, I Minor in Show, 2 Puppys in Group, 1
Puppy in show and last week was BOB, Junior in Group and in Show. She
is only a few points from her Australian Championship.
We are very impressed with her, and all who meet Shakira are very
taken with her personality and temperament. In the future I
hope to undertake obedience, agility and maybe even herding.
Attached are some photos of Shakira and Shakira at home with her
friends.
Best wishes,
Ann and Rob

What a great weekend we had at Forster
Tuncurry held at Taree on 6/8/05 and 7/8/05.
Tarraray Gina Jeffries got BOB both days
with Shakira getting Runner Up Best of Breed, Minor in Group both days
and Minor In Show on Saturday.
Seelestial Likka Tiger also did us
proud getting Baby in Group both days, as did Tarraray Lysande (Tervueren) -
BOB sat, Tarraray Elly May (Challenge Sunday) and Tarraray
Calais (Tervueren) - BOB Sunday.
I also had a chance to show Shakira
and spend time with her at Rob and Annies on Sunday night. What a
pleasure she is - even if a bit of a devil!
Attached is a picture of myself (in
red & black) Judge Mrs V Morrow (NSW) and Annie (in Blue).
Cant wait to show her at the next
show.

Hi Hansi, 2005-06-20
Well I finally got to see Shakira again
and show her on the weekend. Annie showed her on Saturday and she
played up jumping around, so she got beaten by my home bred boy
ledgend. I showed her on Sunday and she got 3rd in sweepstakes and
baby of breed. She only got beaten by a sheltie who went through
for Baby in Show. Lets hope she can do better next weekend.
Her type and temprament are absolutely
lovely and we are so lucky to have her in Australia. Our next step is
to find a boy suitable for her and we will again probably have to look
to europe or we will be looking at Kathryn Todds new boy who was
in quarantine with her.

Hi Hansi,
I have also sent some pictures for you.
All is fine and she is doing really
well and cant wait until the 21st.
She will have a day show at
Newcastle and then to the Qld specialty under Madame
Willemine van Deijl (Belgium). Do you know her and what she
is like? Does she know Shakira is here? We then have Mrs L
de Ridder (Belgian) on the 25 June. Same Questions.
Cant wait to get her out and
about.

Hi Hansi,
Rob and Annie will
definately be in touch and sending photo's.
Shakira is fine and yes
it was a lot longer approx 48 hours but she bounced out of her crate
and all over the girls. I will see her this friday and cant wait.
I am trying to convince
Rob and Annie to train Shakira in both english and Swedish. it is so
much fun to do both and have a multi lingual dog. I am after the
mentality and I think we will have it in this girl. I am sure she will
make a dent in the show and obedience world.
Will write when I get
home from seeing her.
Talk then
Jenine
